Thinking is a conscious, active, internal dialogue we do in our minds. It is an internal conversation we have with ourselves. It is where thoughts and language come together to express and manifest ideas. What we think is what we become.

If you desire to live your best life, making conscious decisions with critical thinking skills will be necessary. After all, one bad decision can lead to too many problems down the line.

Critical thinking is a way of approaching problems or decisions logically. In general, critical thinking is important when making any decision that will affect you.

The most important aspect of critical thinking and decision-making should be clarity. The clearer you are about what you want and what you do not want, the better off you will be. The clearer your goals are, the easier it is to decide that can help reach those goals. The key to using critical thinking effectively is to clearly understand what you’re doing or how a decision will affect you in the future. This clarity is something that we should all strive for in our decisions.

Thinking

If you think you are beaten, you are;

If you think you dare not, you don’t.

If you’d like to win, but you think you can’t,

It is almost a cinch you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’ve lost;

For out in this world we find

Success begins with a person’s will

It’s all in the state of mind.

If you think you’re outclassed, you are;

You’ve got to think high to rise.

You’ve got to be sure of yourself before

You can ever win the prize.

Life’s battles don’t always go

To the stronger or faster man;

But sooner or later, the person who wins

Is the one who thinks he can!

My Thoughts

Do you take time out to think? Thinking is critical because it allows us to assess ourselves, our lives, and what is going on around us. It gives us a moment to check ourselves and refocus if we have gone astray. When we think, we observe, we analyze, we organize, we plan, we evaluate. Taking the time to think is your gift to YOU.

Critical thinking helps you become a better decision-maker which can change the course of your entire life. When you become a better critical thinker, your intelligence and reasoning skills will increase. Your efficiency at work will increase, too. The decisions that you make will affect your quality of life. So THINK, be a critical thinker.
